An extremely rare high quality Yuan Dynasty copper red glazed vase with sculptured deer and blossoming plum tree; the body is very thick and heavy that is typical for Yuan porcelains; the red is exceptional intense and the glaze is unctuous; the unglazed base and foot rim are well cut and the inner foot wall sloping outward, also typical for Yuan period; it is one of the best Yuan red glazed porcelains.
