The blue and white jar is of baluster form, depicts peony flower blossom and vines on the body, between scrolling lappet band and horses in ruyi medallion band, two beast mask handles mounted on the shoulder, complete with en-suite domed lid, bottom unglazed. 此器為纏枝牡丹紋鋪首蓋罐，是元代青花瓷器中的經典造型之一。畫工整體佈局美觀大方、疏密有致。器型敦實厚重、胎質細膩、釉色溫潤。青花飾紋為進口鈷料繪製，呈色亮麗，濃淡相宜，並有暈散。鐵鏽斑深入胎骨，可見錫光。胎底有火石紅，露胎處粘有釉斑。此罐為元青花典型器，從繪畫及青花發色看，實為元青花中的珍品，定為一級品。《大元至寶 台灣元青花分級收藏集萃》，#09, 68頁, ISBN 978-986-89885-4-5, 民國105年6月初版。
