The Yixing Zisha teapot is of bulbous form, painted on one side with landscape scenery, reverse with calligraphy, the clay is of greenish-brown color tone, four character mark Li Maolin on the bottom. 鼓腹，近壶颈则微敛，壶盖以钮为心刻画莲瓣一周。壶身一面描绘一幅山水画，一面题词。壶底印款“李茂林造”四字方印。造型工致、严密，形制稳健、优美。名家所制的茗壶高低比例、线条转折恰到好处，少一点平庸，多一份俗气，正所谓"人间珠宝何足取，宜兴紫砂最要得" 。
