The Yixing Zisha teapot has globular body, with lobed exterior similar to chrysanthemum flowers, the domed lid has matching motif, the clay is of dark brown color tone. 壶体上挺下弧，菊瓣自钮由上而下，延至壶底一捺，鼓腹饱满。菊瓣壶式多为偶数瓣，此壶通体为二十多片瓣叶组成，且每片瓣叶一致，律动起伏。壶、盖、口瓣瓣相吻合，皆能达到通转盖合任何一面，因而菊瓣壶式盖墙甚短，多为微内敛，便于盖合。
