The Jizhou ware tea cup glazed in black and brown color tone, similar to tortoise shell patterns and colors, covered in crackle pattern, bottom unglazed. 圓唇，敞口，口沿處微侈，淺圈足，內外施玳瑁黑釉，足不施釉，胎質較細膩，呈灰白色。玳瑁，是一種海龜的名稱，其背甲遍佈色彩斑斕的不規則斑紋，後“玳瑁”一詞，也可專指其背甲。玳瑁釉為江西吉州窯具有代表性的釉面裝飾手法，因其成品在黑色釉面上佈滿不規則黃褐色板塊，看去極似玳瑁，故名。
