The jade carving depicts a man wearing long robe standing on the ground, two hands folded within long sleeves at center, with smiling expression, the jade is of celadon-white color tone with mottled interior. 白玉质，油润细腻，有沁色。玉人作拢袖站立状，脸型瘦削，以阴刻线在面部琢出眉目耳鼻，束发于脑后，顶戴小冠，身穿宽袖右衽长衫，腰身细瘦。衣褶线条雕刻精整清晰，婉转流畅，疏密均匀。此玉人五官清秀舒展，气质高雅怡然，有宫廷贵族之貌。汉代玉人以平片状居多，圆雕者甚为罕见。
