The porcelain carving depicts a recumbent lion with head turned sideways, slightly raised with bulging eyes and open mouth in happy expression, body glazed overall in infused blue, green, yellow, and red, with crackle patterns, set on top of rectangular pedestal with key-fret and triangular patterns, with six characters DAOGUANG reign mark on the front. 坐卧在方形底座上，昂首后肢一爪挠耳。狮子长耳、肥鼻，珠眼凸爆，大口露齿。颜色丰富，色彩艳丽，整器工艺精美。狮相威武，完美保存，底座上刻有“大清道光年制”，弥足珍贵，值得收藏。
