The vase is of tall and slender form with slightly wider shoulder, tapering to splayed foot, glazed overall in monochrome copper red, bottom bears six character KANGXI reign mark. 拍品外壁通體施寶石紅釉，色澤紅潤亮麗，釉色濃處好似牛血初凝。釉汁肥腴，釉面有細小的橘皮紋，為康熙仿宣德紅釉製品，梅瓶式樣傳世少見，殊可寶藏。青花底落“大清康熙年製”六字三行篆款。
