A rare and fine Kangxi moon-white (Yue Bai) glazed wash; the body is well potted with elegant curvatures from slightly raised mouth rim down to the foot rim; the glaze is unctuous and naturalistic, mimicking pale celadon-colored jade, a popular style during early Kangxi; the unglazed foot rim has a well polished curvy surface, revealing the hard and fine clay body, both are typical for Kangxi period; the two interface lines on the foot wall and between the glaze and the body are sharply and smoothly cut, reflecting the high quality of both the body and the glaze that enables good adhesion between them; with Kangxi mark; minor chip on the foot rim.
