A rare pair of sky blue-glazed square Gu form vases; the body is made of very fine and white clay, typical for Qing imperial porcelains, with eleven layers of molded and carved decorations, depicting lotus flowers around the neck, Buddhist’s treasures around the lower part of the body and Buddhist flowers on the upper face of the outward slant foot; the blue glaze is unctuous and without the glassy shine of newly fired porcelains; early/mid Qing dynasty, with Qianlong Mark.
