The well-potted bowl has slightly flaring rims, with scrolling Chinese characters on top, above five paneled dragons flying amidst clouds in grand design, supported on high foot ring, bottom bears four character "Chen Jinhou". The bowl was possibly used in Imperial Court. Chen Jinhou, active during Qing Dynasty period, specializes in making clayware bowls and plates, and was famous for elegant design and delicate structure in his Yixing stoneware. The bowl was featured in book "YI TAO ZHI LV", page 131.
