Painted on the interior within a central medallion with a dragon leaping amid swiling and crested waves, the exterior with a frieze of nine dragons leaping in different poses on a similar ground of waves, below a border of linked cash motifs, inscribed on the base in underglaze blue with a six-character QIANLONG reign mark 盤撇口，弧壁，圈足。盤內壁與內底交接處暗劃弦紋一周。內盤心暗刻雲龍圖案，龍身粗壯、輪形碩爪，筆觸細膩，生動傳神。外壁以青花繪龍。盤胎薄體輕，造型優美，青花發色豔麗。
