The blue and white covered box is of compressed form, depicts flying dragon and phoenix amidst lotus flowers and vines, bottom bears six character LONGQING reign mark. 盒扁圓形，蓋圓弧面直口與盒身子母口相配接，圈足，足底有“大明隆慶年製”六字雙行青花楷書款。器外以青花繪紋飾，蓋頂面繪龍鳳穿花紋，一對龍鳳對著火珠戲舞於花叢之中，向下有龍紋、纏枝紋邊飾，盒身口沿下繪纏枝紋，腹壁繪龍紋。本品器形周正，繪工精細，形象生動，釉面肥厚潤澤，為難得之隆慶青花佳品。
