此件玉雕辟邪體肥碩，頭部似老虎，頭頂正中刻有兩角，向後伏於頭後。眉骨高隆，雙目圓睜，眼球較為凸顯，嘴部張開，路出鋒利的牙齒，尾巴向右彎曲。四肢向前臥，後部刻有卷紋。整器刀法簡練，線條流暢自如，品相完好。紋飾碾琢清晰，線條流暢。造型神韻逼真，做工精細。| 中國古代傳說中有許多人們想像中的動物，玉、石器中的這些神異怪獸便是依傳說演化而出的。辟邪便是極受人們崇敬、在雕塑作品中出現較多的怪獸，其製造往往受多種動物造型的影響。此件辟邪應是以虎為原型加以獸形變化，僅於局部加翼，無鳥身，造型生動，頗具想像力。
