QIJIA CULTURE JADE DISC, BI
齊家玉瑗
Qijia Culture period.
The Qijia Culture jade disc carved in uneven and
rounded form, the center hole drilled in tapering
fashion, the jade is of yellowish and russet color with
mottled interior.
此玉瑗側面有切割及打孔痕跡，玉瑗青白玉質，表面受
沁，色米黃見雜朱紅，部分鈣化如雞骨色。表面滿刻雲
穀紋和S線型紋飾，刻工繁複工整，在工具並不發達的當
時，雕琢實為不易。《爾雅·釋器》中又說：「好倍肉謂
之瑗，肉好若一謂之環。」這就是說，外邊的寬度是中孔
直徑的二分之一的玉器叫「瑗」，外邊的寬度和中孔圓的
直徑正好相等的玉器叫「環」。此件孔徑正好是外環寬度
的兩倍，所以為瑗。《荀子·大略》：「聘人以，問士以
璧，召人以瑗，絕人以玦，反絕以環。」可知其用處。

JADE CARVED ‘PHOENIX’ SEAL STAMP
玉雕朱雀印章
The seal stamp carved with a phoenix bird knob
on the top, curled and biting onto lingzhi fungus,
the stamp in rounded cylindrical form with single
character mark on bottom, the jade is of celadon
color tone with russet.
印文“南”，代表朱雀的南方方位。玉雕通體呈黃色，包
漿滿布，作立體鳥形。是鳥勾喙，引頸昂首，雙眼圓睜，
腹底削平，兩側劃出陰刻羽翅，尾部沖天高翹，至最頂端
又向後捲曲。以美學角度觀察，是鳥造型簡潔，但卻能唯
妙唯肖表現出鳥禽的傳神姿態，能以最凝煉的線條，表現
最豐富的肢體語言，藝術造詣之高，恐怕當今藝術大家也
會自歎弗如。除此之外，朱雀是古代四靈之一，是漢代神
仙思想中，兆示吉祥的護身瑞物。

JADE CARVED ‘CHILONG’ ORNAMENT
螭龍玉佩
The jade ornament carved in the form of curled
Chilong dragon in rounded shape, tail inwards, the
jade is of yellowish-celadon color tone with russet.
玉佩，整塊玉石掏空製作，雕刻有一條螭龍紋圖案，在古
代是身份的象徵，財富的象徵。青玉質地，器身表面分佈
著白色與黑色沁斑，體扁平，中間作雞心狀，上有細陰線
刻勾雲紋，左右兩側分別。
