白玉羊玉雕
The jade carved figure depicts a recumbent ram seated
on the ground, head turned sideways, a small saddle
on its back, the jade is of celadon-white color tone with
russet and patina.
玉羊頭向右，前足彎曲跪臥，後足貼臥地上。玉羊早在商代
已開始製作，西周以後逐漸消失，漢代再出現。漢代玉羊都
是立體圓雕，大部分作鎮物或裝飾用，因羊與祥諧音，取
吉祥之意。
