ARCHAIC BRONZE ‘TAOTIE’TRIPOD CENSER
商 饕餮紋鬲式鼎
Late Shang Dynasty period.
The archaic bronze censer is of tri-lobed form, stands on three columnar
feet, the body depicts Taotie masks, below slightly waisted neck and
everted rim with two raised handles, slight discoloration.
平沿外折，方唇，雙立耳，分襠，三柱足，通體飾花紋。腹部紋飾以分襠處
為界分為三組相同的饕餮紋，並以出脊扉棱為獸面的中線，柱足上飾蟬紋，
腹部以細雲雷紋填地。造型精緻,紋飾華麗，是商代青銅工藝佳品。
