JADE CARVED ‘PIG’ ORNAMENT
漢八刀玉豬
The jade carved ornament depicts a pig in cylindrical form, the simple
incisions on the body depicts pig’s features, the jade is of celadon color tone
with russet.
玉質溫潤瑩潔，局部受沁呈紅褐色，玉豬形象生動，雕琢手法概括性強，直雕斜
琢兼用，頗為傳神。俗稱之為“漢八刀”，形容其雕法簡練，在漢玉中別具一
格，屬粗豪簡法一派。

穀紋玉璧
The jade carved disc is of compressed form, the surface carved with raised
archaic patterns, the jade is of yellowish-white color tone with russet.
玉色偏綠，有墨斑，局部有土沁。飾以減地穀紋。玉璧最早出現於新石器時代晚
期，是禮天之物,以良渚文化最為多見。以蒼璧禮天、以黃琮禮地的理念為歷代所
遵循。

archaic patterns, the jade disc is of yellowish-white color tone with russet.
白玉質，局部紅褐色沁，璧面飾減地蒲紋，內外環飾陰刻繩紋。玉璧是一種中央
有穿孔的玉器，為我國傳統的玉禮器之一，也是“六瑞”之一。《爾雅·釋器》
載：肉倍好謂之璧。

WHITE JADE CARVED ‘MYTHICAL BEAST’ SWORD CLIP
漢 白玉劍璲
Han Dynasty period.
The jade sword clip carved with mythical beast on the surface, above the
two edges that angle downwards, with rectangular slit opening at bottom,
the jade is of yellowish-celadon color tone with russet.
玉質晶瑩溫潤。玉劍璏造型為長條形，是裝飾在劍鞘上方一側，與革帶（玉鞘上
帶）發生關係的一件器物，用來貫帶系劍於腰部。劍璏又稱劍鼻，《說文·玉
部》：“璏，劍鼻，玉也。”此件玉劍璏正面浮雕一穿雲螭虎龍，形體生動洗
練，尾呈絞絲狀。背面是長方形的倉，倉的側面是貫穿革帶的透孔，作穿系之
用。
